Newborn Photography Orange County - Baby Olivia
Now and then I catch up with editing and this is one of those wonderful days! I just delivered sweet baby Olivia's newborn session gallery and I figured I'd pop in and upload some of her photos to my "recent work". She was such a dream and even when she was awake she was settled and a few times looked straight at the camera! It does not happen very often in newborn photography <3. Enjoy this little beauty's sweet faces!

Since I haven't posted much on this page last year, I figured a slideshow of most of the babies I photographed would be a nice recap. It brought so much joy to my heart going through the galleries and looking at each of these sweet little faces I got to meet and photograph as newborns in 2017. Newborn photography is truly my passion!
Baby Olivia - Newborn Session Orange County
I met her sweet family last year when her mommy was pretty early in her pregnancy, but time flew by and I finally got to meet baby Olivia. She was such a sweetheart, such a pleasure to work with! And so was her entire family! We started with family poses and I was so excited to have her beautiful baby sister cooperate! Here are some of my favorites:

Baby Lucas was such a great model at his newborn session! He had me swoon with that sweet little face and cool hair!
Baby Giuliana Newborn Photography Session - Orange County
When it comes to Newborn Photography I usually get two types of comments:
1. "Newborn Photography is so easy, you just play with babies and pose them how you want since they sleep." or
2. "You have so much patience, I can see why you need to be specialized in Newborn Photography, it's not as easy as it looks."
Now these are totally different opinions and they depend on baby's willingness to sleep at the session. I'd say reality is somewhere in the middle, I rarely have babies sleep through the entire session so it does take patience and soothing techniques to get them to sleep, but once they do sleep it is really like playing with a doll. I absolutely love being a newborn photographer!
Beautiful Baby Giuliana definitely made my part easy :) This little sweetheart kept sleeping through the posing flow and even gave me some smiles <3
